Mildred Josephine (Pasaskas) Tanguay, age 95, died at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, MA, on Saturday, June 10, 2017 following a brief illness.

Born in Ansonia, CT, she lived there until she married and moved to North Haven, CT. Mildred raised her children and assisted her husband, Norman, with his engineering business until 1978 when they moved to Wellington, FL.

Millie, as she was known to her friends, was a sewing instructor as a young woman and an avid seamstress for many years. When she and her husband moved to Florida, she became a volunteer at Palms West Hospital where she made many friends.  In 2012, she moved to Marlborough, MA to be close to her daughter and her family.  

Survivors include her children Norma (Frye) and David. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman, and her daughter, Diane (Prokop). She also leaves five grandchildren, their spouses, and five great grandchildren who were the light of her life.

A memorial mass and celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 1, at the Cardinal Cushing Chapel, New Horizons, 400 Hemenway Street, Marlborough MA.
