Donald Francis Scott

Donald Scott of Brighton, age 74 passed away on April 7, 2024, at his home. Beloved son of the late Winfield S. and Margaret E. (Cady) Scott. Devoted brother of Mary (Scott) Patterson and her husband David P. of Jamison PA and the late Richard Scott. Dear uncle of David S. Patterson, and his wife Kelly of Doyleston PA, Brian Patterson and his wife Priscilla of Glenside PA, Nancy Giordano and her husband Anthony of Philadelphia PA, and Julie Guest and her husband of Tommy of Cherry Hill NJ.  Great uncle of Eve, Leah, and Cayden Patterson, Mary and Katie Patterson, Vincent Giordano, and Brady and Mallory Guest.

Donald was a lifelong resident of Brighton. He graduated from Saint Columbkille High School in 1968. He attended the Art Institute of Boston and enjoyed oil painting as a hobby the rest of his life. Donald served in the USNR and was stationed in Iceland. Later he worked at B.L. Makepeace for many years.

Visiting in the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., (nr. Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON, Tuesday April 16th from 9:00am-10:00am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St, Brighton at 10:30am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
