Geno Rufo Obituary
Geno A. Rufo of Newton (formerly of Brighton) passed away on April 12, 2024.
Despite his long battle with cancer and its subsequent complications, he remained a devoted husband of Kathleen (O’Brien) Rufo, and loving father of Mary Jo Rufo and partner Omar Serrano of Brighton, and Elizabeth Rufo and fiancé Eric Brown of Newton. He will be greatly missed by his surviving friends, family, brother Italo Rufo and wife Catherine, brother David Rufo and wife Denise, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA on Wednesday, April 17th from 4-7 p.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Columbkille Church 321 Market Street Brighton on Thursday, April 18th at 10:30am.
