Barbara Smith Obituary
Barbara A. Smith, born on January 22, 1941, a loving wife and mother of four, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Brighton of respiratory failure at the age of 77. Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband of sixty (60) years, James E. Smith and her four children, Annette, Jimmy, Johnny and Ann Marie. Loving grandmother of Leeanne Eagan and great grandmother of Jiana Eagan. She loved the simple pleasures of life, playing Bingo with long time friends and spending quality time with her family. Barbara also leaves behind her younger sister Katy Price, niece Lacye Caruso and Lacye’s husband David; niece Marcia Ford and nephews Larry and John. Along with her son in-law Fervin and treasured best friends Julie Little, Eunice Clark along with countless other friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 to celebrate Barbara’s life at the Community Center, 130 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton, MA at 11 am.
