Dawn Meehan Obituary
Dawn Marie Meehan, 57, of New Bedford, passed peacefully Thursday, October 24th, 2019, at Mass General Hospital. She was surrounded by members of her loving family.
Born on November 21st, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Meehan Sr, and Eleanor Linhares. She is survived by her two younger siblings, Wendy, and Gerald Meehan Jr; three children, Chris and Jeffry Silva, Daniel (Dani) Castonguay and fiancee Reiley, who Dawn thought of as a daughter. She leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren; Jeffry Jr, Autumn, and Hunter.
Her love of animals, art, and music combined, made her the amazing person she was. She enjoyed thousands of adventures through the pages of her books. She remained young at heart, with a sense of wonder, desire for learning, and a deep passion for nature, the stars, and what lies beyond. Her compassion for all living things brought her to love, and care, so deeply for those around her.
