In Brighton formerly of Galway, Ireland, passed on January 21, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer. Mary was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick O’Brien (Retired Boston Gas), loving mother of John of Brighton, Thomas (Kerry Ann) of Virginia, Patrick of Brighton, and Karyn Murphy (Michael) of Brighton. Loving Grandmother of Jordan, Amanda, Kaelyn, Lilly, and Nolan. Sister of Tomas Clancy, Late Padraig Clancy, Johnny Clancy, Enda Clancy, Nora O’Toole and Ann Wynan all of Galway, Ireland.
After meeting the love of her life, they settled in Brighton & became an integral part of the community, where she was loved dearly by all. Her door was always open & she will be deeply missed.
Funeral from the Lehman, Reen, & McNamara Funeral Home, Saturday, January 26th at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation Friday, January 25th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
