Of Brighton July 19, 2018. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Donovan) McCarthy. Devoted father of MaryEllen White and her husband Joseph of Needham, Janet Murray and her husband Joseph of Bedford, NH, Paul N. McCarthy Jr. and his wife Laurie of Narragansett, RI, Bernadette McCarthy of Brighton and the late Michael R. McCarthy. Brother of the late Katherine Kelley, Frances Firmin, Rita McKeown Eleanor Pendleton, Marshall, Russell, William, Albert and Bernadette McCarthy. Loving grandfather of Albert and Paul McCarthy, III, Timothy, Michael and Johanna White, William, Elizabeth, and Katherine Murray. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home Tuesday July 24th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church 28 Commonwealth Ave. Chestnut Hill at 10 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours Monday July 23rd from 4-8 pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
