Raymond V. Mellone

Of Allston January 30, 2019.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Aucoin) Mellone.  Devoted father of Michael R. of Watertown, Susan B. Gincauskis of Centerville, Caroline Mellone and her husband Allan McPherson of Manchester, NH.  Loving grandfather of Ashley S. and Danielle B. Gincauskis.  Brother of Mary Flynn of Burlington, Rev. Vincent Mellone of Alfred ME, Jeanne Maloof of Billerica and the late Emidio “Mel” Mellone.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home Monday Feb. 4th at 10am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 43 Holton St., Allston at 11 am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting Hours Saturday Feb. 2nd from 2-5 pm and Sunday Feb. 3rd from 2-5pm.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.  

Ray was in the US Army during the Korean War, serving as a Signal Corps worker and photographer at Fort Hood, TX from 1953 to 1955.  He retired from the City of Boston as the AGF Director for the Transportation Department.   Donations in Memory of Raymond may be made to West End House Boys and Girls Club, 105 Allston St., Allston, MA 02134 or St. Anthony’s Church, 43 Holton St., Allston, MA 02134.
