Of Newton March 3, 2018. Beloved husband of over 49 years to Lois (Murphy) McMullin. Devoted father of David of Brooklyn, NY and James of Los Angeles, CA. Brother of Richard McMullin and Arline McKeen and her husband Ken.
Funeral Service in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home Thursday March 8th at 1:30 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours Wednesday March 7th from 4-8 pm. Interment Private.
Mr. McMullin was Board member of the Chestnut Hill Association, Friends of Newton Historical Society, Chestnut Hill Waterworks Museum. Pack Leader Cub Scouts Newton. Longtime American History Professor and Chairman of History Dept. UMass Boston. His favorite course to teach was the History of Boston. After retirement he taught OLLI at UMass Boston.
