Valentyna Yankevych age 77 of Allston, passed away unexpectedly at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on March 6, 2019. Fortunately she was able to be surrounded by her loved ones during this difficult time.
Valentyna was the loved spouse of the late Borislav Yankevych of Odessa, Ukraine and lived in the United States since 2007. She was the devoted mother to Igor and Alla Verbich of Ashland and the late Vladimir Yankevych of Odessa, Ukraine. She was the most wonderful, warm and caring grandmother to Denis, Danielle and Milena Verbich of Bellingham. Valentyna was loved by many in her community in Allston and will be deeply missed.
Valentyna loved all things family, often spending her time with her daughter; traveling, laughing and enjoying life. Her smile and humor was contagious and she always brought a bright light to every room. She touched too many hearts to count. Her departure from this earth was too soon and all the memories shared will forever be with those who she knew and loved.
