In Belmont and Bonita Springs, FL formerly of Brighton November 24, 2018. Beloved husband of Christine (Callahan) Shanley. Devoted father of Meagan Shanley of Pownal, ME, Vincent and his wife Kimberly of Reading, Mary Kate Shanley of Charlotte, NC. Brother of Patricia and James Ring, Mary Villani and her late husband Rudy, Joseph Shanley and Jane, Paul Shanley and Gail, Michael Shanley and Kathy, Ann Moran and her late husband Joe, Louise and George Burke. Loving grandfather of Sophie and Annabelle Shanley, Anna and Charlie Kausel. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home November 29th at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market Street Brighton at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours Wednesday November 28th from 3-8 pm. Interment Private.
Captain 1972 Boston College Hockey. Past President of Pike’s Peak Club. Member of Boston College Varsity Club Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
