Albert J. Murphy Jr

Albert J. Murphy, Jr. of Brighton passed away on September 29, 2025.  He was born in Brighton on April 24, 1930, to the late Albert and Sarah (Bauer) Murphy.  Beloved husband of Christina “Gerry” (Kearney) Murphy.  Devoted father of Paul Murphy and his wife Ann, and Joanne Murphy Covington.  Loving grandfather of Paul Jr., Patrick and his wife Molly, Kathleen and her husband Aaron Careaga, Eva Covington and Brenna and her husband Dann May.  Great grandfather of Ellie, Clare, Riley, Collins, Ada and River. Albert was predecased by his beloved first wife, Anne Collins Murphy (Collins) in 1993.

Visiting in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) Brighton on Wednesday October 8th from 9-10am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton at 10:30am.   Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. 

Mr. Murphy was Air Force Veteran, member of the K of C #121 Brighton and AOH Division 14 Watertown.
