Loving son, brother, and uncle

Andrew, age 37, was the son of George T. Rodgers, Sr. and Leslie Ellis Rodgers of Tewksbury, MA. He died unexpectedly at his home in Wakefield, MA on July 26, 2021.

Andrew was born in Winchester, MA on January 24, 1984. He graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High school in 2002. He studied personal training and fitness at Middlesex Community College, and went on to become a barber after graduating from the New England Hair Academy. Cutting hair and talking with his clients was Andrew’s true passion. He worked in various barber shops over the years, and was most recently employed at Performance Plus Unisex Salon in North Reading.

Andrew is survived by his sister Corey Rodgers and her partner Raul Torres of Lowell, MA; her brother George Rodgers, Jr. and his wife Suji of Reading, MA; his nieces Alanna, Lily and Madeline; his nephews Alex, George, III, and Bryan; and his grand-nephew Amar’e.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Andrew’s life from 12-3pm at the Tewksbury Country Club, 1880 Main Street Tewksbury, MA 01867, on Sunday, August 1, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Into Action Recovery, 20 Foxrun Drive Tewksbury, MA 01876.
