Barbara A (Elliott) Berry

Barbara A. Berry (Elliott), a long-time resident of Brighton passed away at the age of 86 on August 3, 2023. Dear wife of 62 years of the late Lawrence (Yogi) Berry.  Beloved mother of Elizabeth Wheatley (Berry) and husband Lawrence, Lawrence Berry and his wife Catherine, Steven Berry and his wife Michelle.   Loving Nana to her grandchildren Zachary and his wife Rebecca, Jessica and her husband Michael, Christopher, Colleen, Sarah and Faith Berry.  Great grandmother of James and Evelyn Coletta.

Loving sister of Phylis Murnaghan, Lawrence Elliott and his wife Connie, late brothers and sisters Robert, Helen, Rita, John, Albert, William, George, James, and Paul. Aunt to many, many nieces, and nephews.

Barbara worked as a cafeteria monitor at the Winship Elementary School in Brighton for over 24 years and devoted herself to caring deeply for the lives of the children in her care.

An avid reader and lover of puzzles, drawings, old movies, and most of all making people smile.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Lehman, Reen, McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. Brighton on Wednesday, August 16th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting hours Tuesday, August 15th from 5pm to 7pm in the Funeral Home. A private interment will take place in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
