Beatrice "Pat" (Shanahan) Arena of Allston passed away on January 18, 2026. She was born in Boston on March 22, 1933 to the late Timothy and Bridget (Kilkenny) Shanahan. Beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Arena. Devoted mother of Antoinette A. Foynes and her husband Robert of Framingham, Patricia Arena of Leominster, Eileen Arena of Allston, Timothy Arena of Woodstock, NH, Joseph Arena and his wife Susan of Brighton, Robert Arena and his wife Karen of Waltham. Cherished sister of Kathleen Shanahan, Eugene Shanahan, Pauline Marry, Agnes Whitermore, and the late Eileen Subilosky, Timothy Shanahan and Maureen DiMasi Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday January 23rd at 12pm, livestream link below. Visiting starting at 11am.
