Bondevious Keith Paige was born on February 7,1967, to Malidon Paige and Henry Paige Sr, in Boston Massachusetts, where he grew up. When he was young, friends and family began referring to him as Japp. They say he had eyes like a Japanese person.
When Japp finished school, he spent his adult life working in the trades and became very skilled at all things handy. He acquired many certifications, and oftentimes worked in dangerous situations, above ground, under ground and even out at sea, when he was working offshore on an oil rig off the Gulf of Mexico. Japp has traveled to many places and did some extraordinary things. One would say that he lived an adventurous life.
In the middle of his journey, Japp had a son with Rene Thomas in 1988. They named him Dominique, after the famous Basketball player, Dominique Wilkins. Dominique Thomas grew up to be a fine young man, very intelligent and skilled in music, technology, computers, and visual and graphic arts.
Bondevious was known for his witty sense of humor and he was a big fan of the Adidas brand, which you would find him wearing most of the time. He loved Hip Hop, Boston sports, and most of all, his family. He had this thing he used to say, regarding his family: “We’re All We Got”.
We’ll miss the great memories and all the laughter he brought to every occasion.
Bondevious Keith Paige entered eternal rest on September 11, 2021, joining his mother, Malidon Paige, brothers, Henry Paige Jr. and Pernell Paige, and nephew, Don Terry.
