Dave grew up in Milford, Massachusetts and as a young adult moved to the Boston area.
He loved the hustle and bustle of the big city and was a passionate Boston sports fan.
He spent his early years as a hard-working teenager in housing construction then transitioned to building and property maintenance. He worked in this field for over 30-years and became a legend in it. He was a business owner of a start-up handyman service then after several years, decided to work for the city of Boston as the Assistant Athletic Director at the Jackson Mann Community Center. He remained there for more than 20-years until he retired to Maine in 2019. Dave was the man you called for any questions regarding home repairs or renovations and was always eager to lend a hand. He was tough as nails and was a fierce defender of his friends and family but was mainly known for having a heart of gold. He especially loved children and was affectionately called “Grampies” by his 12-beloved Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. He had a very playful, youthful soul and was always quick with a joke.
