David Hume Obituary
David Michael Hume, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 after a brief illness. Beloved husband (42 years) Beth Hume (Schanker), brother of Catherine (Cathy) Hume Maguire and her companion, Jed, of Merideth, NH, Carol Hume, and her longtime companion, Jack, of Daytona Beach, FL and Richard Hume, deceased, as well as various nieces and nephews from multiple states. He’s also predeceased by his parents: Richard and Ann Hume.
He had many talents and made use of them in various trades. He owned D & C Contracting, a small general contracting outfit and Overland Movers. He also was a wonderful fix-it person for nearly everything.
He loved boating and fishing and was a member of the Boston Power Squadron.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
He was well loved and will be greatly missed.
