Of Medway, formerly of Allston, October 2, 2019. Beloved husband of Judith (D’Amelio) McWhinnie. Devoted father of Lisa Graceffa & her husband Anthony of Medway, Tina Baia & her husband Michael of Marlborough, Joseph McWhinnie of Medway, and the late Nicole McWhinnie. Dear brother of Rosemarie Castoldi of Waltham, Paul McWhinnie of Florida, William McWhinnie of Framingham, Dennis, Gregory, and Marlene McWhinnie, all of Florida, and the late Sharon Bayliss. Loving grandfather of Dylan, Aaliyah, Nathan, Arianna, David, Joseph, Sophia, Gianna, and Anthony. Godfather of the late Paul McWhinnie, Jr. Godson of Rita Forrester. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. David was a member of the Teamsters Local 25 and the Harness Racing - United States Trotting Association. Funeral from the Lehman, Reen, & McNamara Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 9th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 43 Holton St., Allston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Tuesday, October 8th from 4-8pm.
