David "Harry" Harrington

David “Harry” Harrington of Allston passed away March 21, 2023. Beloved husband of Linda (Gillis) Harrington of Allston.   Loving son of Phyllis (Sheridan) and the late Paul Harrington.  Devoted brother of Paul Jr. and his wife Lori of Lynn, Doreen of Southbridge, Robert and his wife Eileen of Arlington, Lynne Bennett and her husband Patrick of Brighton and the late Steven Harrington. Brother-in-law of Jean and Tony Scalia, Billy Gillis and the late Jimmy and Gary Gillis. Nephew of Jack and Bev Ezzo and Sis Harrington.  Uncle of Theresa Andre, Kelly Foster, Lindsey Farrell, Brendan Bennett, Melissa Bean and Sean Bennett, Sandy Gillis and her partner Kyle Moore, Jimmy Gillis and his wife Abby, Michelle Gillis, Keith Gillis and the late Kelly Johansen. Also survived by many grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends.

David was a Senior Custodial Services Employee for the City of Boston School system. Most recently he worked at the Nathan Hale School amongst others. He will be greatly missed by faculty and students. 

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. Brighton on Monday March 27th at 9am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church 43 Holton Street Allston at 10am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment Private.  Visiting Hours on Sunday March 26th from 4-8pm in the funeral home. 

Late member of the Brighton Lodge of Elks #2199.  In lieu of flowers donation in memory of Harry may be made to American Heart Association 300 5th Ave Waltham, MA 02451.
