Dr. Marjory Gordon

of Chestnut Hill and Mashpee, April 29, 2015.  Dr. Gordon began her nursing career in New York at the Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing.  She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Hunter College of the City University of New York and her PhD from Boston College.  Dr. Gordon is an Emeritus Professor of Nursing at Boston College.  She is the author of four books, including the Manual of Nursing Diagnosis, now in its 12^th edition.  Her books appear in ten different languages, in forty eight countries and six continents.  Upon her retirement to beautiful Cape Cod, Marge was active in the Christ the King Nursing Ministry.  Marge is survived by her cousin Joan Goodwin and her husband Duncan and their children Callum, Lisa, Siobhan and many close friends and colleagues  Visiting hours in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. BRIGHTON on Friday, May 1^st.  from 2-4pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4^th. at 10am. in St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
