Edward David Burns, Jr.

Edward Burns, Jr of Brighton, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 86.
Edward’s surviving family is deeply saddened by his passing; he was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Dash) Burns. Devoted father of Deborah McCusker and her partner Chris Daly of Brighton, Denise Rigg and her husband Wayne of Lowell, Susan Nassif and her partner Raul of Brighton, and David Burns of Worcester. Loving grandfather of Edward, Deana, AJ, Khalil, Lily, Melissa, Michael, and the late Pierre and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Bentley, Antonio, Ariana, and Jackson. Father-in-law of the late Amine Nassif. Son of the late Edward Burns Sr and Pearl (Young) Burns.
He proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was an avid Boston sports fan.
Visiting Hours in the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Monday September 15th from 11:30am-1:30pm. Followed by Funeral Service at 1:30pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at the Gardens Cemetery West Roxbury.
