Edward was a lifelong Bostonian who grew up in the Back Bay of Boston, and moved to Brighton fifty five years ago. He was a proud graduate of Huntington Prep School for Boys, and the University of Maryland. Following college he entered the United States Air force, as a Lieutenant. He was a dedicated public servant and an employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. His love for sports allowed him to coach many youth sports, including Brighton Central Little League, and Pop Warner Football. Basketball was his favorite game, and he continued playing well into his seventies as a member of the Senior Games. He was a diehard Boston Sports fan and a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus #331 Back Bay and the ROMEO Club.
He loved life and had an infectious laugh. Listening to big band music and dancing with his wife were his passion. He was kind and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all, even those who knew him for a short time.
