Eugene "Rocky" Kelly

Eugene “Rocky” Kelly of Walpole Ma, formerly of Brighton and County Kildare Ireland passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2023 surrounded by loving family after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Jeannie (Mahoney), devoted father to Ciaran and his partner Laura of Manchester, England, Siobhan of Charlestown and Meaghan and her partner Alex of Lynn. Adored son of the late Benedict Kelly and Elizabeth Kelly of County Kildare Ireland, loving brother to Gerry, Benny, Deirdre, Brendan, Aidan and Libby. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.

Eugene immigrated from Ireland just shy of 40 years ago. He settled down in Brighton where he created a life for himself and his family. He emulated hard work and resilience. He had a passion for music and sports, he especially had a love for the Chelsea Football Club. He was an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be so dearly missed.

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Saturday October 14th at 11am.  Followed by Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church 28 Commonwealth Ave CHESTNUT HILL at 12pm.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting Hours Friday October 13th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
