Frederick J Tieuli, Jr.

Frederick John Frederick J. Tieuli, Jr., age 74, of Westford, passed away peacefully in his sleep, after a fierce and courageous, eight year battle with Myeodysplastic Syndrome. He was an extraordinary man who will be remembered for his intellect, charm and athletic prowess, but most especially the pleasure he found spending time with his family. Born on March 27, 1949 in Milford, Massachusetts to Frederick J. Tieuli and L. Kathryn Jacoby Tieuli, Fred was an outstanding scholar and athlete. He graduated from Tufts University in 1971, where he played on the football team and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Fred had a wonderful career in the textile industry spanning forty five years. His final role being Director of Operations for Polartec before he got ill and retired. He traveled the world on his business ventures from Shanghai to Seoul, to Vietnam, Germany and London. Most fortunate to be Fred's family are his devoted, loving wife, Sherri; and his cherished, beloved daughter, Lauren. They are grateful to have had such a loving husband and father. Fred is also survived by three siblings, Joseph E. Tieuli and his wife, June, Susan F. Gala and her husband, Andrew; and Charles Tieuli. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and devoted friends as well. Fred loved life. He was a force of nature who loved fiercely, fought valiantly, and was beloved by family and friends. He will be missed greatly. The sweetest life - ending too soon. Service will be private at a later date.
