In Loving Memory of Gerard Armand Arpin Jr. (November 14, 1979 – May 17, 2024) With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Amand Arpin Jr., who left us after a valiant struggle with addiction. Gerard was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forever.
Born in the fall of 1979, Gerard’s life was a tapestry of love, challenges, and enduring relationships. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Cindy A. Taylor, and her husband, Mark Taylor, of Fitchburg, MA. He is predeceased by his father Gerard Armand Arpin. His presence will be profoundly missed by his sisters, Janis Meek Daigle of Bradford VT and Anne Cochran of Lowell, MA.
A proud father, Gerard’s legacy lives on through his daughters, Tatianna Arpin of Brockton, MA, and Kaydence Arpin of Haverhill, MA, as well as his sons, Mark and Vincent Arpin of N. Andover, MA. His joy was multiplied with the arrival of his granddaughters, Kaylani, Sofia and Yvette, whose presence brought immense happiness to his life.
Gerard’s spirit will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and unique sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held by the family to honor Gerard’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to local addiction recovery programs, to honor Gerard’s struggle and to help those facing similar battles.
May his soul find peace and may those he left behind find comfort in the memories and love he shared.
