Helen McGuirk Obituary
Helen Elizabeth McGuirk (88 years young), a life long resident of Brighton, died peacefully on February 23rd surrounded by loved ones, including family, friends, and the compassionate team at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice House. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth (nee Wade) and James McGuirk, and her 4 brothers and their wives: James (Rita), Raymond (Helen), William (Helen), Jackie (Mary). Helen was a doting aunt and a devoted cousin to numerous family members; a loyal friend to many; and a lifelong Boston sports fan. Her love for life, sunny outlook, independent spirit, and resilience will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
Visiting Hours on Saturday, March 29th from 7:30am-8:30am at Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Saturday, March 29th at 8:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market Street Brighton at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
