Helen Palkey Obituary
Of Brighton, formerly of West End, October 2, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Francis E. Palkey, Sr. Devoted mother of Patricia Loiacono & her late husband Louis of Peabody, Francis E. Palkey, Jr. & his wife Charlene of Brighton, Joseph Palkey of Brighton, and the late Barbara Palkey. Dear sister of Marie Connelly of Braintree, Rita Florino of Quincy, and the late Stephen and Laura Florino. Loving grandmother of Lisa Loiacono, Lauren Palkey, and Christopher McCarthy. Great grandmother of Vincent Ducharme. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen worked at Boston College for many years until her retirement at age 75.
Funeral from the Lehman, Reen, & McNamara Funeral Home, Friday, October 5th at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visitation Thursday, October 4th from 4 to 8pm.
