Henry Staines III Obituary

Henry Joseph Staines, III (Lt. Det. Boston Police Dept.) of Dedham formerly of West Roxbury passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Daphne Principe-Griffin. Devoted father of Michael and Jack Staines and stepfather of Gabrielle Griffin and Brooklyn Modestita-Griffin. Brother of the late Suzanne Kennedy and loving uncle to her children Ethan and Kelsey. He is also survived by the Callahan Family, including Maryellen, Maureen, Michael, Joseph Jr., Joanne, James, John (Jack), Richard, and their spouses and children, and preceded in death by Margery. Henry dedicated his life to protecting and serving the citizens of Boston with honor and integrity for 28 years.

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Tuesday June 18th at 8:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church 2078 Centre St West Roxbury at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
