Jeremiah J. O’Connor Of South Boston, formerly of Brighton and Charlestown, passed away on June 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished son of the late Paul J. and Pauline (McCreevan) O’Connor. Devoted brother of Paula “Bonnie” O’Connor of Brighton, Caroline “Carrie” O’Connor-Shepard and her husband Brad of St. Louis, MO, and the late Paul J. O’Connor, Jr. Loving uncle of Micaela O’Connor and her husband Andrew Walker of Brighton, and Isabelle O’Connor Shepard of St. Louis, MO. Also survived by many close cousins and lifelong friends.
Graduate of Northeastern University and St. Columbkille High School; also studied at Bunker Hill Community College. Proud union member of Local 2222 I.B.E.W., Local 799 I.L.A., and Local 22 Laborers (retired).
Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday June 13th at 8:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church 55 Warren St Charlestown at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting Hours on Thursday June 12th from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
