It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Joanne C. Manganaro in Nashua, NH formerly of Brighton who passed away on July 13th, 2024, at the age of 73. Joanne was born August 16th, 1950, and was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Antonelli) Manganaro. Devoted sister of Joseph Manganaro and his wife Patty of Billerica, Kenneth Manganaro and his wife Jamie of Methuen, Paula Grealish and her husband Edward of Brighton and Susan Shea of Saugus. Joanne was also survived and deeply loved by many aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Joanne lived her life to the fullest. She loved visiting with family and friends whenever she could, she never missed a birthday or family event, and she loved going to the casino. Joanne loved music and she would be the first on the dance floor when a Justin Timberlake song came on. Joanne was able to attend Justin Timberlake and Matteo Bocelli this past year, which was one of the many highlights of Joanne's life. Joanne graduated from Brighton High School in Brighton, MA. After graduation, Joanne went on to work for the federal government HUD for many years, before moving into retirement. Joanne was a 34-year member of Bill W. This was one of Joanne's proudest accomplishments.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (near Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Saturday July 20th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St. Brighton at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours on Friday July 19th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
