John Howe Obituary

John David Howe of Newton formerly of Brighton passed away on March 3, 2026. Son of Irish parents the late John and Margaret (O’Connor) Howe.  Brother of the late Ann Hiltz.  He was the beloved husband of Sheila (O’Donoghue) Howe. Uncle to Kathy Gage, Jack and Kenny Hiltz and brother-in-law of Kevin O’Donoghue.  He leaves many cousins here and in Ireland. 

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hil Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Monday March 16th at 9:30am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton at 10:30am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Visiting Hours on Sunday March 15th from 1-4pm in the funeral home.
