John Sweeney Obituary
Of Brighton, formerly of Brookline, October 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary C. (Melia) Sweeney. Devoted father of Mary Ann (Sweeney) McCue of Brighton and John D. Sweeney and his wife Joan of Dedham. Brother of the late William Sweeney and his wife Dolly of Halifax. The #1 Grampie to Caitlin, Erin, Julia and Jack; and proud great-grandfather to his great-granddaughters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Susanna Church, Dedham, on Saturday, October 16th at 10 am. Visiting Hours at St. Susanna Resurrection Garden from 9-10 am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Shriners Hospital.
