John Zoffreo Obituary
John L. Zoffreo of Brighton formerly of Cambridge passed away on June 8,2021. Beloved husband of Eleanor( Hogan) Zoffreo. Devoted father of Stephen of CA. Robert and his wife Patricia and Marie and Carl all of Belmont. Loving grandfather of Alexis, Robert, and Mathew. Brother of the late Jerry Zoffreo and Anne Rizzutto.
He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean war and fought in the Chosin Reservoir Battle at the age of 17. He was one of the “Frozen Chosin” and was proud that South Korea (a Strategic U.S. Ally) remained independent. To the citizens of South Korea “Stay Free”!
He was passionate about his career and life in the real estate/construction business.
Visitation in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. on Monday June 14th from 9-10 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market Street Brighton at 10:30 am. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
