On May 26, 2026, John “Sean” (Robbert) Audley passed away peacefully in Boston.
Born on January 18, 1966, to James and Mary (Barrett) Audley of Brighton, Sean was the youngest of six children.
His formal education began at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic School in Oak Square, Brighton, and after graduating from Don Bosco High school in 1984, Sean received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Throughout his life, Sean nurtured a love of hockey. First playing street hockey with his neighborhood friends in Oak Square, some of the best memories of his youth included his parents cheering him on from the stands as he played competitively in school.
The loving father of Brenda Marie Audley and her husband Joshua Vosburgh of Meadville, Pennsylvania, and Jessica Nicole Audley and her husband Ty of Rolla Missouri, he was the proud grandfather of Atom, Kingsley, Kira, and Kody.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mary Barrett and James Patrick Audley, and brother James “Jimmy” Audley, he is survived by his sister and Godmother Mary Patricia Barry and her husband Kevin of Ashland, sister Christine Brophy of Norwood, sister Kathleen Ordonez of Dedham, brother Michael Audley of Mansfield, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
