In Loving Memory of Johnatan Bastos

Johnatan, beloved father, son, and friend, passed away leaving behind five children—Tiffany, Jessica, Rachel, Kimberly, and Nicholas—who will always carry his love in their hearts.

At just 17, Johnatan came to the United States from Brazil with a dream to support his family, later bringing his parents and brothers to join him. By 21, he had built a family of his own and worked tirelessly to provide and protect them.

Johnatan was known for his big laugh, even bigger heart, and ability to turn anything into a joke. He loved passionately, lived loudly, and always aimed to make those around him smile. A crowd favorite and a family pleaser, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

May his memory live on through the laughter, love, and strength he gave to so many.

Even though he is not physically here with us, his DNA is within us. Every cell in our body is a product of his and with that we find peace knowing our Daddy is forever a part of us. We will make it our mission to fulfill his legacy and carry on his lineage. Everyday we will multiply his love and honor him in everything we do. “My dad has always been my best friend, and he forever will be. He always supported me and understood me when I felt like no one else did. He never failed to show me he loved me, even when times were difficult. I will continue to make him proud and include him in everything I do and every decision I make. I know he’s now resting in the best place possible, with our Lord, at peace. One day we will meet again, in eternity, and until then I will make him proud in everything I do.
