Julia Dorsey Obituary
In Brighton formerly of County Galway, Ireland passed away on June 11, 2021. Devoted mother of Diane Broderick and her husband John, Laura Geilfuss and her husband Richard all of Allston, Siobhan Frongillo and her husband Mark of Medford. Loving grandmother of Matthew Badger and his wife Kristen, Andrew Badger, Nicole and Joseph Geilfuss, Michael and Megan Frongillo. Sister of Bridie Hynes, MaryAnn O’Brien, James Keady and his wife Mary, Anne Maria Morrissey and her husband William, and the late Kitty McDonough, Matt, Frank and John Keady, former wife of Arthur Dorsey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday June 18th at 10:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton at 11:30am. Funeral Mass may be livestreamed at St. Columbkille's website www.brightoncatholic.org and select RED YOUTUBE LINK Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours Thursday June 17th from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
Julia was longtime member of the Allston-Brighton Arts Council and volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Julia may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452.
