Kathleen M. (Gasper) Egan

Kathleen M. (Gasper) Egan of Brighton passed away on November 21, 2024.  Kay was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Egan for 35 years and devoted mother of Deborah McCool and her husband Robert of Londonderry, NH, Sheila Egan of Brighton, Kathleen Saleme and her husband Mark of Holliston, and Margaret Egan and her husband Robert Welch of North Conway, NH.  She was a loving Grammy to Christopher McCool and his wife Alyssa, Brian McCool and his wife Michelle, Sean McCool and his wife Katie, Brianne Tarpey and her husband William, Ariana LeMaine and her husband Benjamin, and Brianne Welch. Kay always enjoyed her time as “GG” with great-grandchildren Dylan, Colin, Harper, Annie, Charlie, Millie, Emmett, and Quinn. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home at 63 Chestnut Hill Avenue (near the Brighton Courthouse) in Brighton on Tuesday November 26 at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market Street in Brighton at 10:30 am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.  Visiting hours will be on Monday, November 25 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. Mrs. Egan was parish secretary at Our Lady of The Presentation Church for more than 30 years and past Prefect of Our Lady of the Presentation Sodality.
