Kathleen (Geoghegan) Gallagher

Kathleen (Geoghegan) Gallagher of Brighton and formerly of Oughterard, County Galway, Ireland passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024.  Beloved wife of Frank Gallagher.  Devoted mother of Dennis Gallagher and his wife Anita of Austin, TX, Joseph Gallagher and his wife Allison of Oro Valley, AZ, Thomas Gallagher and his husband Matt of Waltham, MA and the late Kathy Gallagher.  Loving grandmother of Claire, Hayley, Kate and Sophia Gallagher.  Sister of Bridget Rafferty, Nora Ryan, Patrick and Thomas Geoghegan and the late Mary Gill, Muriel O’Shaughnessy, Denis and Matthias Geoghegan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (near Brighton Courthouse) Brighton on Sunday, January 5th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home on Monday January 6th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St, Brighton at 10:30am.  Interment at St Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Kathleen was a long-time member of St. Columbkille Sodality, Court Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Daughters #1543, Cara Club, Pastoral Center and the Irish Cultural Centre.
