Leo Thomas Fahey-Newman

Leo Thomas Fahey-Newman (08/05/1999 - 08/10/2024) passed away after fighting an illness. He was predeceased by his father Brian Fahey and mother Joy M. Newman. He leaves his grandparents Theodore and April Liscombe, Edward and Julia Fahey, and Maria Fahey. He also leaves his aunts and uncles, Jenny and Joe Arruda, Annemarie Fahey and Eric Fagin, and his cousin Gabriel Arruda. Leo leaves behind very special friends Juan, Jacob, Brandon, and Neil, as well as family friend Jason Smith, with whom he shared a love of films and surf music.  Leo also leaves behind many other friends, relatives, as well as his beloved dog Bandit and cat Critter.

Leo graduated from Holliston High School and had two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Suffolk University, in International Relations and English, as well as a Certificate in teaching English as a second language. He worked as a court clerk for the ADA’s office in the Milford District Court and was well-loved and respected by his colleagues. 

Leo was an avid baseball fan who loved the Red Sox. He enjoyed learning about history and culture, especially that of the Irish. He was a film and music buff. He loved surf music, as well as Irish folk and punk music. He loved to travel and even got to visit Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England with his grandmother April Liscombe, among many other trips.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on September 5th in the Chapel at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham, at 9:30am.
