Lorraine C. (Young) Bossi

Lorraine C. (Young) Bossi, of Brighton, passed away on January 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl R. Bossi. Devoted mother of Christopher Bossi of Brighton and Lynne Allen and her husband Bruce of Cumberland Center, Maine. Loving grandmother of Isabella and Lucinda Allen. Daughter of the late George and Bessie (MacLennan) Young of Allston. Cherished sister of the late John Young and sister n law of May Young, and loving aunt of Cathy, John, and George Young. She also dearly loved her son Chris’s dog, Mars, and her beloved cat, CeCe.

Visiting hours will be held at the Lehman, Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Avenue (near Brighton Courthouse), Brighton, on Monday, January 26, from 5:00–8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 76 Eldredge Street, Newton, on Tuesday, January 27, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Interment will take place in Gould, Quebec, in the spring.

Lorraine was a longtime and proud member of the Watertown Yacht Club. She served for over 14 years as the zoning chair of the Brighton Allston Improvement Association and was an active member of Brighton Main Streets, and hosted a weekly series called “The Roundtable” on Allston Free Radio.
