Margaret M. (McCarthy) Murray

Margaret M. (McCarthy) Murray in Scituate formerly of Newton, Brighton and Killeen, Castlecove, County Kerry, Ireland passed away on June 15, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Murray.  Devoted mother of Thomas Murray and his wife Maryellen of Scituate, Michael Murray Jr. of Waltham, Kevin Murray and his wife Gail of Millis, Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Liddell and her husband Daniel of New Woodstock, NY, Margaret Norton and her husband Alan of Scituate, Gerard Murray and his wife Judith of Duxbury, Robert Murray and his wife Kathleen of Newton, Deirdre Murray and her husband Daniel Wrixon of Cohasset.  Loving grandmother of James, Michaela, Michael, Erin, Kelly, Brian, Shannon, Daniel, Connor, Meaghan, Brendan, Bridget, Mairead, Sean, Colin, Liam, Aidan, Caroline, Andrew, Lennox, and Finnegan.  Great grandmother of Brenna, Ronan, Lorelei, Sullivan, Maeve, Sloane, Emery.  Sister of Mary Grady of Belmont, Sheila Guinan of Brighton, Kathleen Gleeson of Castlecove, Ireland, Timothy McCarthy of Newton, and the late Lily, John, Jim and Denis McCarthy.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday June 21st at 9:30am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton at 10:30.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Visiting Hours on Thursday June 20th from 4-7pm in the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Murray may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
