Margaret "Peggy" (O'Connor) O'Leary

Margaret “Peggy” (O’Connor) O’Leary of Norwood, formerly of Brighton, passed away on July 28, 2023.  Beloved daughter of the late John J. O’Connor and Dorothy (Woelfel) O’Connor-Wheeler. Devoted mother of John O’Leary (Karen) of Middleborough and Mary Ann O’Leary (Terence Donnelly) of Waltham. Dear sister of Mary Ann Shea (John) of West Roxbury, Francis O’Connor of Brighton, Paul O’Connor (Lorraine) of Norwood, Christine Downs (the late Carroll) of NH, and the late Charles, John “Jackie”, and Robert O’Connor. Loving grandmother of Samantha and Kaitlyn O’Leary. Sister-In-Law of Linda O’Connor of NJ, Carol O’Connor of Dedham, and the late Deborah “Debbie” O’Connor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Columbkille Church on Thursday, August 17th at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www. stjude.org/donate.
