Marilyn Barresi Obituary

Marilyn A. Barresi, of Ashland, formerly of Allston, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. She was born in Boston on December 7, 1944, and was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine Barresi. Devoted mother of James H. McMahon, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Canton, and the late Stephanie and Sandra McMahon. Proud and loving grandmother of Gabriella and Gavin McMahon. Cherished sister of the late Robert Barresi and his surviving wife Jeanette of Natick, and the late Joseph Barresi and his surviving wife Claire of Holliston. Beloved sister-in-law of Geraldine Bocchino of Revere. Marilyn is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, on Monday, June 23rd from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, 43 Holton Street, Allston, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Parlin Hospice House, c/o Good Shepherd Community Care, 160 Wells Ave, Newton, MA 02459.
