Mary L (Preston) Dolan

Mary Louise (Preston) Dolan went to be with Our Lord on April 21,2023. Mary was born in Auburn, New Hampshire to Ralph Preston and Hope Whitney Preston on August 16, 1935. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Bill ( William) Dolan, and brother Roger Preston. She is survived by her sister, Anita Preston Clark, brother Calvin Preston, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a long-time member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church in Allston.  As a person who lived the faith she believed, she served the church as deacon for many years, served on the Flower Committee, and was a member of the Women’s Group.  Mary also served on the Board of The McNamara House in Allston where she resided. She was known to many both in the church and in her residential community as a good listener with a kind heart. 

Mary enjoyed traveling to New Hampshire where she would visit friends, and dine at Hart’s Turkey Farm.  She loved to go on garden tours and to take long walks around Allston. Mary was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.

Visiting in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday May 5th from 11:30am-12:30pm.  Followed by Funeral Service at 12:30pm.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment Cambridge Cemetery.  For directions and guest book please visit www.lehmanreen
