Mary (Connolly) Healy

Mary Healy (Connolly), 88, of Brighton passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 2, 2025.

Born in Bantry, Cork County, Ireland on May 30, 1937. She was the beloved daughter of Denis and Helena (Shea) Connolly. 

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Patrick Joseph "Joe" Healy, her beloved son, Michael Patrick Healy and her brother and sister, Donal and Betty Connolly. She was the loving mother to Helen Healy-Hosford (Sean) of Newton, Dennis Healy (Janice) of Norfolk, Patrick Healy (Kimberly) of Brighton and her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Healy of Brockton. She was the beloved grandmother of Alannah, Harry (Deirdre), Kate, Erin, Katherine, Sarah, Claire, Izzy and Lily. She was the cherished sister of Peg Gill of Milton. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Mary was a devoted member of the Catholic Daughters, and the Cara Club at the Brighton Senior Center. She will be dearly missed by her fellow club members and friends at these organizations. 

Funeral from the Lehman, Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., BRIGHTON on Saturday December 6th at 9:30am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Columbkille Church 321 Market St., Brighton at 10:30am Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Friday December 5th from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
