Maryann F (Bertolami) Boyd

BOYD, Maryann F. (Bertolami) of Newton, passed away on November 15, 2021.  Beloved wife of Robert T. Boyd, Sr. of Newton.  Loving mother of Robert T. Boyd, Jr. of Brookline. Devoted grandmother of Jake, Gabrielle, and Olivia Boyd. Dear sister of the late Louis Bertolami. Maryann lived most of her life in Lynnfield, MA and spent many winters in Stuart, FL. 

Maryann taught for 33 years in grades K-5.  She studied at Boston College and completed a Bachelor of Science degree.  Maryann also attended Northeastern University and Boston University and completed a Master’s degree specializing in Math and Science Curriculum as well as a Reading Specialist.  Maryann was an accomplished pianist and organist, playing and singing in Choirs in the Catholic Church.

  Funeral From the Lehman, Reen, & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr. Brighton courthouse) BRIGHTON, Friday, November 19th at 9am.  Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill at 10:00am.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment private.  Visiting hours Thursday, November 18th from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
