Michael McGowan Obituary
Michael J. McGowan formerly of Brighton passed away on May 20, 2021. Loving son of Patricia McGowan of Salem, NH. Also survived by his son Michael McGowan and his mother Jaimie Curtin of Attleboro, his daughter Kaylee McGowan, and her mother Brianna Crannell. Nephew of Donna Thompson. Stepson of William McCaig. Bonus family Dawn Coleman, Tommy Sullivan and their daughter Chelsey Sullivan as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Michael was a lifelong Boston resident and had honor saying he was from this city. He had devotion to all Boston sports teams and showed that devotion in some of his tattoos. He worked as a skilled carpenter and was passionate about his work. Most importantly, he has a great love for his family, especially his children of whom he spoke with great pride and dedication.
Visiting Hours will be held in Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. Brighton on Saturday, June 5th from 2-4pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Michael may be made to Gavin Foundation, P.O. Box E15, South Boston, MA 02127.
