Patricia A. (Oster) Noonan

Patricia A. "Pat" (Oster) Noonan 89 of Allston passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2024, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Alfred E Noonan. Devoted mother of Paul Noonan and his wife Allison of Northport, NY, and John Noonan and his wife Tammiann of Waltham. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Ryan, Erin, Franklin, and Eleanor. She was the cherished sister to the late Frank, George, John, William Oster, Agnes Harvey, and Mary Robinson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Pat worked for the Archdiocese of Boston in Brighton as an executive assistant in the Chancellor’s Office for 25 years before retiring in 2012.

Pat expressed herself through crocheting and crafting projects. She created some of the most beautiful afghans and wreaths. Over the years she donated many of her hand-crafted items to local charities. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she displayed a decorated Christmas tree in her living room year round.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, February 23rd, 2024, from 4pm-7pm in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at 9 AM, from the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church, 43 Holton St., Allston, MA. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. 

Flowers are appreciated, but in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Hands and Hearts Hospice, 34 Washington Street, Suite 100, Wellesley, MA 02481.
