Robin D Harper (1946-2026) of Brighton MA died peacefully on 05/05/2026. He suffered a serious stroke in 2024 and was residing at Briarwood nursing home in Needham, MA. Many thanks to all the staff at the nursing home. Many thanks to Genitive Hospice. Especially his wonderful nurse Tracy. He attended Spencerport HS NY, but graduated from West Irondequoit HS NY. Attained BS from Cornell University. He was a founding member of Cambridge Co-housing, where he resided almost 30 years. He was a member of Cambridge Peace, Cambridge Science, and Mensa. He was a technical writer in the Boston area. As a young man he enjoyed camping, biking and skiing. He was very passionate about social issues, politics and the environment. He was pre-deceased by his father and mother James and June Harper. Robin is survived by sister Bonnie June Harper Grant, Niece Jacqualine Grant, brother James D Harper and best friend Eleanora Raikh. A memorial gathering will be held at Cambridge Co-housing 175 Richdale Ave Cambridge MA - at the discretion of the family.
